Transferring a Connect car listing

To transfer a connect car listing from an account to another, please follow the instructions below:

If you are the owner wishing to transfer the car listing:

  • block the calendar of the car being transferred so that it is not available to be rented

  • once the last booked rental has ended, deactivate the car listing.

  • inform the new owner to create a listing on their account, with the same plate number, 3 pictures, clear access information and without requesting Getaround Connect. Their listing might be deleted by our system as the car is already registered under the same plate number, but do not worry, we will reactivate it manually as soon as we have the required information.

  • once everything is ready for the transfer, contact us again by replying to this email, specifying the plate number of the vehicle, the email of the owner wishing to transfer the listing and the email of the new listing owner clearly pointed out.

If you are the new listing owner:

  • tell the current owner of the listing to block the calendar for the listing they wish to transfer and to deactivate it once the last rental has ended.

  • create a new listing on your account, with the same plate number, 3 pictures, clear access information and without requesting Getaround Connect. Your listing might be deleted by our system as another car is already registered under the same plate number but do not worry, we will reactivate it manually. Please note that your listing won't be activated unless we have the required information.

  • once everything is ready for the transfer, please contact us and make sure to specify the plate number of the vehicle, the email address of the owner wishing to transfer the listing and the email address of the new listing owner clearly pointed out.
