Renting for business trips

The convenience and proximity of cars make Getaround a great solution for business trips.

Each employee who will drive a car needs to create their own Getaround account to book a car. For the moment, it's not possible to create shared company accounts. The rental works exactly the same way as for private users.

When booking a Getaround Connect car, you also have the option to pay with your company credit card.

For your expense reports, you can download a receipt of your trip from your account dashboard. If you rented a car from a professional, you can request an invoice including VAT from the owner directly.

Please note that you can’t rent a car for commercial purposes (such as taxi driving), but you are allowed to use it for carpooling to share costs.
