The cost of fuel is not included in the rental price. If you returns the car with less fuel than was recorded at the beginning of their rental, you will be charged the difference. If you return the car with more fuel than at the start of the rental, the difference will be charged to the owner, and a refund issued to you based on the current fuel prices.
If you are using a paper agreement, go to our website, then Your rentals > [relevant rental] > ‘Request a price update (fuel)’, which is available up to 2 business days after check-out.
After 2 business days it is no longer possible to request an adjustment. Any request that has been received more than 2 business days after the rental has ended, will be declined.

If the Getaround Connect box in your car is able to detect the fuel levels automatically, the levels will be detected at the checkin and checkout of the rental.
You will be asked to take clear pictures of the fuel gauge on the dashboard, both at the beginning and end of the rental.
As a Driver, you will be invited to report through the App any difference between the dashboard levels and the automatic levels declared by the device.
